You Left Yourself Out, a seven area workbook

Read this first

Before you start

You are not here because you forgot who you are. You are here because you built a life around the version of you that did not know any better yet. And now the life does not fit.

You did everything you were supposed to do. Built the life, played the roles, kept going, held it together. And somewhere along the way you stopped feeling connected to the woman living it. Now it feels blah. You are performing instead of participating.

This is not more inner work. You have done inner work. You have read the books, sat with the feelings, grown. That part is handled.

What has not been handled is the actual life. The roles. The schedule. The relationships. The work. The way you show up and speak. Those things were built by earlier versions of you, and they sit exactly where you built them until you go back in and move them.

That is what this workbook is. Going back in. Moving things.

Identity Lag

You changed first. Your life has not caught up yet.

You walk through your own days and feel a small flinch. You look at your calendar and do not fully recognize the woman it was built for. That is the misfit. It is not in your head, it is not a confidence issue, and it is not because you have not done enough inner work.

This is not a mindset problem. It is a structure problem. The foundation is you

The scan

The seven places it shows up

Misalignment does not live everywhere. It lives in specific places. We are not rebuilding your whole life. We are finding the parts that are not you.

01

Roles

Who you are to everyone else. And where you went in the process.

02

Schedule

Whose life your days are actually built around. Check before you answer.

03

Home

Your space knows which version of you lives there. Look around.

04

Relationships

Some of these fit the woman you were. Not the one reading this.

05

Work

What you do all day. Yours, or inherited?

06

Body

How you show up, dress, care for yourself. And who it is actually for.

07

Voice

What you say out loud against what you actually think. Mind the gap.

Most of the time it is hiding in three or four of these. The other three or four are actually fine. Your job is to work out which is which.

Inside the workbook

What is inside

Four parts. Fourteen chapters. Forty three pages. Six worksheets you can type straight into.

Worksheet one, the Diagnostic, from You Left Yourself Out

The commitment

How long it takes

  • Part One in one sitting. About 40 minutes.
  • The diagnostic, ten minutes. Ten questions, scored out of 50. Be honest. Lying to yourself here means you finish holding a Misalignment Map that does not reflect your actual life.
  • The scan, half an hour per area. One area at a time. By the end of the week you have a complete Misalignment Map.
  • Your first move inside 48 hours. Then hold it for seven days before you change anything else.

The one-move method

Small enough that your nervous system can actually handle it.

  1. Look at your Misalignment Map.
  2. Pick one item where the gap is small. Not your biggest misalignment. Your smallest.
  3. Find the smallest action that closes that gap by twenty percent. Not a hundred. Twenty.
  4. Schedule it inside 48 hours.
  5. Do it.
  6. Hold it. Change nothing else for seven days.
  7. Go back to the Misalignment Map.

Your body does not trust the burn-it-all-down version. It knows what comes after a big move. Three weeks of high functioning, then a crash, then a quiet return to the old shape. Your body trusts small.

Not for everyone

One thing before you buy

This is not for everyone, and I would rather you know now than on page 20.

If you are looking for a morning routine, a manifestation practice, or the next self-improvement plan to install, this will frustrate the hell out of you. This book removes. It does not add.

This is for the woman who is done renting her life from everyone else's expectations. Who is ready to find out which parts of the life she built are actually hers.

If that is you, keep going.

The honest limits

What the Misalignment Map cannot do

The Misalignment Map shows you what is not yours. It is damn good at that.

By the end you know which roles you inherited, which commitments you absorbed, and which voice you have been answering in that was never yours.

But the map has a limit. It can show you what to remove. It cannot show you what was underneath the whole time.

That is not a workbook job. That is a mirror job. Some women strip out what is not theirs and hit a question the Misalignment Map cannot answer. Okay, so who is actually left?

If you hit that question you are not doing it wrong. You have just reached the part that needs a second set of eyes, reading your actual blueprint instead of your absorbed one.

Answers

Questions

How is this different from every other workbook I have bought?

Most of them add something. A routine, a practice, a plan to install on top of a life that already does not fit. This one removes. You end up holding a one page map of your actual life and one specific thing to move this week.

Can I type into it, or do I have to print it?

Either. There are 87 fillable fields, so you can do the whole thing on a laptop or a phone. Fill it in by hand if you can though. Something about handwriting slows you down enough to be honest.

Do I need the Soul Map first?

No, and the order actually goes the other way for a lot of women. This workbook shows you what is not yours. The Soul Map shows you what was underneath. Doing this one first means the Misalignment Map confirms something you already half knew, which lands harder than being told.

Is this for my business?

No. The seven areas are roles, schedule, home, relationships, work, body and voice. Work is one of seven. If you run a business it will show up there, but this is an audit of a life, not a marketing plan.

What if I get to the Misalignment Map and cannot fill in the right side?

Chapter 10 exists for exactly that. It is common and it does not mean you are broken. It means you have been so many versions for so many people that the un-absorbed one is buried. There are three specific things that help, and one of them is a fourteen day strip of self-improvement content.

Can I get a refund?

No. Digital products are final sale. It lands in your inbox the moment you buy it and you keep it, so there is nothing to return. That is exactly why this page spends so long on what it is, what it cannot do, and who it is not for. I would rather you decide not to buy it.

If something goes wrong with delivery, email me at hello@jaimiekozyra.com and I will fix it. Full terms are on the terms page.

If I drew my life on a piece of paper today, would it look like me?

You are done with this workbook when you can ask yourself that and answer honestly.
